About Us

Gifted Rags was established June 15, 2022,  the creation sparked from Michael M. Stevenson in 2020. Without a clear plan, directions, or a budget to start a business, all Michael had was an idea and God! Michael wanted to create something that not only represented his brand, but also empower, assert, and provide positivity. Born and raised on the Westside of Detroit, Mi, Michael always had  an entrepreneur spirit. Honoring his parents, and with a family full of artists; Michael knew he was destined for greatness.
As a child, Michael loved to draw and color, which lead him to major in graphic design at Tennessee State University. Even after completing his Bachelor of Art degree in graphic design, Michael knew he wanted his own business.
It is his prayer and goal to grow Gifted Rags large enough, to be able to provide for his family. In addition to providing for his family, he would like to give back to the world in any way he can.
His motto is “You are Gifted in your Own Way.. Spread Love Always!”
